I have the dreaded login loop bug. I am currently running Kali 2020 in VMware Fusion on Macbook. I shutdown my vm last night everything worked fine. This morning it refuses to log me in, I put in my credentials and it just refreshes the login page. I have found articles like this one which appears to be a "quick fix". The issue is on Macbook I have no idea how to Ctrl + Alt.
Has anyone else experienced this and fixed it? I have a lot of important work data on this VM I need.
