As a Cyber Security major I was looking to create a Kali Linux laptop that I could play around with and learn. As a computer tech, I constantly get laptops that people want me to recycle for them. Right now I have two older Vista laptops that are just sitting on the shelf. Would they be good enough to run a Kali environment? I know it's not the fastest but would the distro run on them? If the answer is no, what would be the minimum specs I would be looking at for a laptop for this purpose?
