as the title states I can not open my terminal. It tells me failed to launch preferred application for category "terminalEmulator" (could not find fall back Terminal Emulator application.) I can still open qterminal, using alt f2. I did just upgrade the distro and thats when I stared having problems with it, thanks for your help.
