Hi Folks,
I've been playing with Win-Kex on WSL2 and I've run into a frustrating little problem after installing Synaptic.
When I try to run synaptic-pkexec as a non-root user from the GUI (xfce4) menu, I get the following error:
polkit-agent-helper-1: error response to PolicyKit daemon: GDBus.Errorrg.freedesktop.PolicyKit1.Error.Failed: No session for cookie
==== AUTHENTICATION FAILED ===
Error executing command as another user: Not authorized
I can verify that the policykit daemon is running, and I've read through every other forum post which is even remotely related to this and I can't seem to get it working.
Can anyone point out what I've missed?
