Hello everyone. I am brand new to Linux and this is my first post so please bare with me if I ask what may seem obvious to you more advanced users. I am still learning.
I am having an issue setting up dual monitors. Here is the situation:
I have Dell24 plugged into the DVI port of a NVIDIA GeForce GT 720
I have Dell14 plugged into the VGA port on the mother board.
If I boot with either monitor plugged in by itself, they work fine, If both are plugged in however it only defaults to the VGA. Display settings is not detecting or allowing me to add a second display. I have downloaded NVIDIA graphics drivers and when I run the installer, there is an error about kernal tree or something like that. I would assume it wouldnt be a driver issue however, since the NVIDIA graphics card works fine by itself. I have also ensured that Legacy boot is enabled and UFEI is not.
I would really appreciate any help on this! I am at a loss and I want to learn! Thank you!
