I am media designer and engineer.
My main focus ist to visualize abstract data and backend behaviour and so on.
So best distro is for sure "Linux". Especially Kali can visualize Network activites.
But for visualizing i need design Software and it looks like there is a big lack of Software support for this on Linux.
I learned working with "Adobe" Software. But there policies and licenze dont work on Linux.
So i must use more than one Computer to realise my work.
Sometimes i want just look for little things in Kali and its a waste of time to change always computers.
I try it with VBOX on Windows10 but Windows antivirus gets then full of warnings and notifications about Kali because a lot of people abuse Kalis Software.
For sure i can use a Macbook but its to expensive. (with enough money you can solve all your problems).
I am looking for a media informatics system that supports open source. i can use gimp, incspace and so on but at a point it cant keep up with other design tools.
