After successfully creating a .dd image from a harddrive using DC3DD and then successfully carving it via Foremost, I went to repeat the process with a USB stick. The DC3DD .dd image is created successfully, but when I run Foremost, it properly builds the output folder, but then nothing-else happens except I get a Permissions Denied note in the Audit.txt file AND the folder that is created has a large X in it when viewed via File Manager. I've tried multiple different usb sticks and continue to get this error.

I'm decent at Linux, but new to Kali and new to these forensic tools. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance...
Mark
