I've just installed Kali on my new laptop, a Lenovo Ideapad 3 system. Several key pieces of hardware have no drivers and therefore do not work. The missing drivers: Wifi adapter, Bluetooth adapter, touch pad, and Bluetooth mouse and keyboard (this one may get resolved simply by getting the BT adapter to work). I checked the Lenovo site and they only have drivers available for Windows. I also have Ubuntu installed on this system and all hardware works right out of the box. Therefore, I assume that some existing Linux drivers will work on this hardware for a Debian-based system such as Kali. I'm somewhat familiar with viewing and adding existing modules (drivers) via modprobe, but not sure how to go about identify, acquiring, and installing non-present drivers offline (downloading needed files on another system, copying over, and installing). Could anyone point me in the right direction on this one?
