My display is a Vox TV, model no. LED43YB650.
On my Windows 10 install, this TV supports a refresh rate of up to 60 Hz @ 1920 by 1080. On Kali Linux, however, @ 1920 by 1080, the only refresh rate supported is 24 Hz.
My install of Kali Linux is brand new, the version is 2020.4. My specifications are as follows:
Ryzen 5 1600 AF
AMD RX 480 Sapphire Nitro (8 GB variant)
Gigabyte B450M S2H motherboard
8 GB of RAM
The low refresh rate is present both in Kali Linux and Grub.
