While installing OpenShot video editor in my KDE - kali linux I realized that many other programs/packages where been deleted. All without introducing more than the same commands as to OpenShot installation:
sudo add-apt-repository ppapenshot.developers/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install openshot-qt
Even the folders surfer Dolphin and my desktop managing theme where deleted, so I lost my ability to enter the session right at the beginning and had to reinstall the entire OS.
It fixed the problem but some time later happened the same but this time with the installation of LibreOffice (I entered the commands to install it and its installation deleted some other packages).
Now I reinstalled again the OS but don't want to repeat the same error. I'm still running on a KDE desktop with Kali Linux. Does anyone know why does it happen and how I can avoid its repetition?
