I have just installed Kali Linux and everything seems to work well except for the wifi adaptor. It is an Intel Corporation WiFi Link 5100. I followed the steps suggested in the Debian wiki but with no success. If I type airmon -ng I get the following result:
PHY Interface Driver Chipset
phy0 wlan0 iwlwifi Intel Corporation WiFi Link 5100
I imagine that it means that the wifi adaptor is recognized by Kali, but still it doesn't work, since there is no wifi icon in the task bar and when I try to see the existing networks around me, Kali says that "there are no networs available". Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
