Hi Everyone,

I have Kali installed on Vmware Pro 15.0. Recently, out of no where I saw the ethernet of Kali got disconnected and after rebooting is the same.

I have done the following troubleshooting steps:

`sudo dmesg | grep -i eth0`

Code:

I tried the following:

  • Resetting network configuration of Vmware to default
  • Adding a new adapter to the vmware
  • re-installing vmware tools
  • tried restarting network manager and networking service on Kali

None of above have worked.
