No sound on all linux versions!!

Hi everybody, I have a problem with not only Kali Linux but also all Linux versions, it's that i have no sound and i run any Linux version on bare metal or on a USB flash drive because i don't have a strong laptop to run virtualbox can you please be kind and help me because i am a begginer at Linux??

most Linux these days use systemd to initiate them, which also means you need alsa installed for the sound usually;
