Can wireless network driver be installed offline?

I flashed kali live amd64 on usb but I don't have ethernet and kali doesn't have wifi...I downloaded the .exe driver for bcm43142 from windows 10 but I don't have access to kali from windows. It asks to format the usb and I don't know if .exe can run on kali even if it can be transfered

While technically windows binaries can run on linux through wine, this would likely not be helpful in this case. I would recommend downloading the linux debian driver package and then copy it over via USB.
