    Dependency Problems

Hey everyone, I am new to Kali and just starting to get everything set up however whenever I go to run upgrades this is the error message I keep getting:

    python3-iptools
Use 'sudo apt autoremove' to remove it.

I can not seem to figure out what I am doing wrong here and I have tried the following that I found online alread:

    sudo apt-get autoclean
    sudo apt-get clean
    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get upgrade
    sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
    sudo apt-get -f install

    sudo dkpg --purge ""

    sudo apt autoremove
    sudo apt --fix-broken install

Each time I use a command either to install or remove I continue to receive the dependency problem. Any help on this would be great!

You have broken raspi scripts on drive, to clean them up:
    sudo rm /etc/initramfs/post-update.d/z50-raspi-firmware
    sudo rm /etc/kernel/postinst.d/z50-raspi-firmware

sudo apt upgrade should now work just fine

I went through the known bugs in the bug tracker and found a solution. sudo apt purge --autoremove raspi-firmware running this command in addition to the rm ones given before should solve it. This issue is apparently due to installing from a live image instead of an installer one.

thanks for this useful bit of help..at least i finished full upgrade with just those "possible missing firmware" warning messages..should be good enough..
