Black Screen of Death

Good Afternoon Everyone,
I have tried unsuccessfully to find the answer everywhere, including on these forums. I hope someone can please help. First, I have had Kali installed on my VB and it worked fine, I had some issues and needed to reinstall. I went through Add/Remove programs to get rid of VB. I deleted the kali instance in the VB before removing. I have a fresh VirtualBox install and have tried to set up with kali. I have gotten to theGraphical Install screen, clicked enter...I get the BirtualBox load/splash screen...then I get a bunch of that appears to be hex jumble, then it just dies... No real error message, at least that I can see. Has anyone had this issue or can anyome pleasse offer some advice? I can't get past this screen and kali wont even install

Don't use graphical install, choose text based and after its installed update it. sounds like a graphics driver issue..
