Installing all kali tools via apt-get

Hello everyone

Has anyone been successfully installing all of the kali tools using apt-get? When I have attempted several times even after changing my sources.list file we still are unable to locate "kali-linux-all".

Any assistance would be appreciated.


# apt-get install kali-linux-all
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package kali-linux-all


# cat /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://http.kali.org/kali kali-rolling main contrib non-free
deb-src http://http.kali.org/kali kali-rolling main contrib non-free

did you update your system first before trying that?

sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade -y

After updating and upgrading...

In the Xfce menu, go to Settings, Settings Manager, Other, Kali Tweaks, Metapackages and install them all from there.
There are other options available under Kali Tweaks as well.
