I'm using Kali live booting from a USB pen, on a HP Pavillion Touchsmart netbook with a damaged touchscreen. On Windows I have disabled the input device so it no longer interferes, however after searching the web I haven't found a solution. I need to disable the touchscreen and ensure that it is disabled persistently after a reboot. The xinput command yields a 'not found' output.

If anyone can help me please respond!

Thanks in advance!
