Hamster 'unknown integer size' error

Hi,
When I run hamster after a short while the capture stops with an 'unknown integer size' error message. I'm running it on Kali 1.06 64bit.
Has anyone...
Got hamster running on 64bit Kali reliably.....
Or know how to fix my problem?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Not sure but it seems that the problem may be due to a lack of traffic. If I generate a higher rate of data it seems to keep hamster capture alive. Can anyone please confirm this.
