I followed this step to upgrade Kali using an offline ISO image.
Step 1
mount -t iso9660 -o loop /path/to/iso /mnt/
Step 2
Modify the /etc/apt/sources.list by adding:
deb file:///mnt kali-rolling main non-free contrib
( Comment out all other repository locations from the file except the about one)
Step 3
apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade
and then I got this:
Ign file: kali-rolling InRelease
Ign file: kali-rolling Release.gpg
Get:1 file: kali-rolling Release [5,826 B]
Ign file: kali-rolling/contrib Translation-en_US
Ign file: kali-rolling/contrib Translation-en
Ign file: kali-rolling/main Translation-en_US
Ign file: kali-rolling/main Translation-en
Ign file: kali-rolling/non-free Translation-en_US
Ign file: kali-rolling/non-free Translation-en

Any thoughts on how I should solve the hash sum mismatch?
