Hello! I have a Cubieboard4, its an 8 core board in the same series as the other cubieboards - however it uses the Allwinner A80 cpu instead of the a20. Since this beastie has build in wifi, ethernet, hdmi and 16gb of emmc, i would really like to actually put it to use. The company who makes this board has kinda completely abandoned it, i havent seen a single new OS for it in almost 2 years now.

This thing is a fantastic little powerhouse that could do wonders if someone put some love into it, you can still buy them..they are quite cheap.
How would i go about porting the existing old kernel to be kali ready, i assume picking bits and pieces out of the kernel and seeing what hardware drivers are needed. Look, im not a kernel developer or image creator, really, i just want to see if its possible to get this thing using something besides ubuntu 14.04..
