xforcevesa problem
Hey i got a lenovo t410 with i5 cpu.
kali version:
amd64
gnome
i start the live version from my usb stick but the screen turns black while booting.
already tried the parameter xforcevesa but no success.

-xforcevesa noapic noapci nosplash irqpoll --
I had the same problem once before and this worked for me

This may seem a little dumb, but I have a 3rd gen i3 with an intel 4000 gfx card...
Turns out for some reason the screen brighness was totally off by default... "fn" and "up" sorted it
