    what do the numbers kali1-6 indicate?

    When running
    Code:
    uname -r
    (kernel release), I get 5.7.0-kali1-amd64. When running
    Code:
    uname -v
    (kernel version), I get #1 SMP Debian 5.7.6-1kali2 (2020-07-01).


    My question is: what are these numbers 1-6 following the word kali? I've searched, but couldn't find a good explanation.
