Briked phone when I want to install the last ROM

Hello, good day,

It’s been a year since I installed the 2022 version of NetHunter on a OnePlus 8 with Android 13, but several weeks ago, I noticed that I couldn’t update the app on F-Droid. So, I decided to install the latest ROM. However, for some reason, after doing that, my phone got bricked.

With MSM, I was able to recover it and tried reinstalling the latest ROM again, but the same thing keeps happening. The OnePlus 8 either gets stuck or enters a boot loop. I’ve tried many things, but I haven’t had any success.

I’ve been dealing with this for over a month, and I can’t find a solution.

Specifications:

  • Phone: OnePlus 8 IN2013 IN21BA (European Version)
  • Magisk: Version 28.1
  • NetHunter ROM: ROM from the official Get Kali page for OnePlus 8.
  • TWRP:

If you need any other details about my situation, just let me know.

What I’ve tried:

  • Restoring OxygenOS 12 (Same issue) and OxygenOS 11 (TWRP doesn’t work)
  • Changing TWRP versions

Thanks for the help.

Edit: Finally I could install nethunter on android 11 using the custom kernel for this version and creating my own installer with this article “Building NetHunter | Kali Linux Documentation”.

I wasn’t able to install TWRP, so I need to use a magisk parched boot.img. link: “https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dveF8wMu9gg&t=158s
