I created a feature request here [FEAT] Subvolumes for virtual machines/containers directories in /var/lib (#1) · Issues · Kali Linux / Packages / partman-btrfs · GitLab then realized I may have better discussed it here before… Sorry for the noise 
So, what do you think about adding support for these to partman-btrfs?
I also read the dev docs about customizing Kali CDs and installer, but didn’t find:
- how to define a custom partman recipe
- how to integrate custom udebs
