What have you tried:
Tried opening google in chrome, chromium and firefox (smh was able to install chrome)
Also tried pinging google.com
What is the error:
ping: google.com: Name or Service not known
What device is this on:
Dell Latitude E7250
How’s your system installed?
Bare metal (Kali as the only operating system), dual boot (Kali together with Windows) or within a Virtual Machine (like VirtualBox or VMware)?
Edit: Looks like there has been some prior troubleshooting; bare metal install, you re-installed with Balena Etcher after initial trouble with Rufus, you tried pinging Google DNS 8.8.8.8 and that’s where you get “host unreachable”, you tried (but were unsuccessful?) to log into your router’s (Jio AirFiber) gateway.
