I’m confused as to your set up now, earlier you say you were dual booting, which I took to mean running Kali direct on hardware from one partition, and Windows from another partition, and choosing which to boot up into.
later you say ‘Windows playing up’ which would only be relevant if you were using virtual machines, or WSL to install Kali as a guest inside Windows…
