Anyway, the version you are using is not the point above, in VM settings you have it set to ‘boot from network’, this means it will be looking for a network share of a Kali install file, which you won’t have and will always fail.
Boot from a Kali ISO image to install it, or if you have already installed it, from the created hard drive where you installed Kali too
