I just downloaded kali, im new to it quite frankly. I switched from arch linux because i wanted to pentest without installing software on my own on blackarch. So, my question is: Are there any good guides for the pentesting software here, or maybe a megathread or something like that?
the documentation for each tool is the best resource. you can also check tryhackme/hackthebox website. they offer various rooms for some of the tools available in kali

Hacking is not a quick process, it can be extremely frustrating at times, and you have to study your craft, and when you have gotten the gist of how to use the various tools, you still have to study your target to find vulnerabilities.
All the tools come with manual pages that tell you how to use them, and if you search for a tool, you will find most are hosted on sites like github etc and you will usually find a little more information than might be in the programs manual pages.
Of course a search for ‘a tutorial on using ’ will give you lots of useful hits!
