I have a second monitor that has 144hz capabilities (I know and tested that it works so it is not a cable issue / port issue).
Despite showing in every setting that it has 144hz selected, it is still 60hz. I have tested it by using this https://www.vsynctester.com/ (I have verified it on my main monitor and it detects correctly 144hz) and I can visually see that it is not 144hz (by stutters).
I have updated and installed the nvidia drivers by follolwing the official tutorial in Kali Linux website.
