What have you tried: Having the system idle for some time
What is the error: I’m automatically logged out after 10 mins, my power manager is set at never in all cases (temporarily for the sake of understanding the issue)
What device is this on: Linux kali 6.11.2-amd64
Update : xfce4 power manager was the problem, disabling ‘Display power management’ seems to have solved it.
how di I disable power manager?
Go to Settings Manager → Power Manager - Display tab, then uncheck Display Power Manager, if it’s what you need.
You can also check xfce4 forums if it’s DPMS that you need to modify or screensaver settings.
