Evil Virtual keyboard

I have Kali v2 running on a little hp with touchscreen and this virtual keyboard keeps popping up and is driving me nuts!! I've uninstalled the Florence virtual keyboard but apparently that's not the one that's popping. I can't seem to find a setting anywhere to disable this thing.

I'm totally with you. I have Kali 2 running on an Acer with a touchscreen and any time I touch anything on the screen, the soft keyboard comes up and obstructs the view. I'm about to throw this thing into my cat's litterbox. I've searched everywhere for a solution....nothin'.

I am new to Linux and Kali, but I can still offer my 2 cents I suppose. If this is popping up, I assume there is a process attached to it. If there is a process manager in Kali, maybe try looking for it in there, and disabling it. Sorry if this does not help, like I said I am new and do not know many technicalities.
