Hi Guys, just tried to install Kali 2 on my PC, it's an iextreme desktop, duo core etc etc etc. Yes I know I could dual boot from a USB but that isn't an option in my bios settings sorry guys
So burned the iso to CD/DVD and ran it. got to where you boot into kali and this happened.
Loading, please wait
fsck from util-linux 2.25.2
*/dev/sda1:clean 340017/38584320 files 44189/154317056 blocks
[ 16.040100] nouveau E[DRM] pointer to flat panel table invalid
That's it, the PC just locks up and has to be powered off at the plug. Now when switched back on and Kali is started in advanced/safe mode everything works fine.
This happens every time I turn the PC on btw, also it did with the iso I downloaded this morning. btw the checksums are fine etc.
Hope someone can come up with a simple solution.
Cheers
