Failed to start User Manager for UID 130 and Login shell not working

    Hello,

When i tried to start my Kali in VM under Windows 7 gives me error saying

Failed to start User Manager for UID 130
See system ctl status [email protected] for details.

I searched in the forum for solution and found
    https://forums.kali.org/showthread.p...-start-uid-132 and
    https://forums.kali.org/showthread.p...d-for-dev-quot

but those threads aren't helping because when i tried to jump into login shell using ALT+CTRL+F2, the login shell isn't working. I can't input the login.

When i entered into recovery mode it also tells me that Network Time Synchronization failed.

    ------------------
    -> systemctl status systemd-timesyncd:

    systemd-timesyncd.service - Network Time Synchronization
Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/systemd-timesyncd.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled)
Active: failed (Result: exit-code) since Fri 2018-05-104 13:46:39 IST; 36min ago
    Docs: man:systemd-timesyncd.service(8)

May 04 13:25:04 kali systemd[1]: Failed to start Network Time Synchronization.
    --------------------

I tried to update and upgrade but no luck.

I am using latest version of kali and uname -a gives :

    Linux kali 4.14.0-kali3-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.14.17-1kali1 (2018-02-16) x86_64 GNU/LINUX

    Thanks.
