I've been scouring the net trying to find an install on my nexus 7 2013 ver. without having to blast away the android OS. (but i don't really mind, i hardly use this tablet)

I've tried "Complete Linux installer" - seems to have some Kali integration within the app but just gives me errors.

Trying "Linux Deploy":
Code:
Proceed to make new disk image (4095 MB).... done
Mounting Partitions:
/....done
Installing Debian-based distribution:
I: Retrieving Release
E: Failed getting release file http://www.kali.org/dists/kali/Release
<<<< end: Install
Now i know that the above error is due to not being able to pull the image because the address isn't correct. But if i have downloaded the kali-linux-1.0.6-armhf.img, cant i just use that somehow? I cant find any options within this app to point it to this image.

Any Linux Deploy app guru that can help with this one?

I also have a achlinux.ext.img (kali ver.) that i downloaded via the other app: Complete Linux Installation.
