Hey everyone,
I've been trying for the last few hours to install Kali on my PC. I'm currently running Ubuntu and want to install Kali along side it.
I'm having trouble creating a USB that will even boot up the installation process of Kali.
I've downloaded the latest ISO.
On my first attempt I used the startup disc creation tool on Ubuntu. But got errors when booting from the USB. I followed all the instructions at https://forums.kali.org/showthread.p...all-Kali-Linux but it still never worked.
Then I followed the exact process as outlined here: http://docs.kali.org/downloading/kal...ve-usb-install but now I only get a blank black screen after booting into the USB.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, it can't be this difficult to install Kali surely.
