I have TP-LINK TL-WN722N and Alfa AWUS036NH. Both work and both can be had cheap from Amazon. HOWEVER, there are issues with both, maybe with all external adapters. Check this thread: https://github.com/offensive-securit...unter/issues/8 Some have reboots just using specific programs, others more often. I'd say someone is working on this. Expect its a power issue but getting an OTG splitter that works is another trick...
Nexus 5 - 4.4.4
confirmed working
================
AWUS036H - 802.11 b/g 5dBi
AWUS036NH - 802.11 b/g/n 14 dBi
Ok, will try those; thanks guys.
I'm using a TP-Link TL-WN822N for the nexus 7 2013 flo, works perfectly.

If you know of other cards that work, post them in the thread here, and we'll update the FAQ from time to time.
TP-Link TL-WN821N (300Mbps) works on OnePlus One
chipset : Atheros AR9287 (ath9k)
Meanwhile, when OnePlus One is charging with OTG Y-cable, no charging icon will be displayed.

Thanks gentlemen, got the TP-LINK TL-WN722N and it works great; plug and play. I recently got another alfa 036h but that and my old 036h both gave me "scios flags (or whatever)"errors and wernt recognized.

Remark :
The device list of monitor mode is a little bit strange. In addition, the performance is too disappointed.
NOT RECOMMENDED!

TP-Link TL-WN822N working with OnePlus One but im having problems getting it recognised on my Nexus 7 (2013 wifi). No response whatsoever from the dongle.
Personally don't have this adapter, but with the Nexus 7 (2013 wifi for me) I'd recommend sticking with Kit-Kat for maximum compatibility with adapters as Lollipop still has issues (aka not working).
The commonly used TL‑WN722N works fine on 2.0 fine on kit kat, broken on lollipop.
It was a known issue on the previous build and still is.
Not sure if it's a chipset issue or for specific cards.
Can someone confirm
TP-LINK N300 TL-WN823N working on Android Lolipop?
