After installation modify or create if necessary the sources.list, then type aptitude update and then aptitude safe-upgrade

I do not understand, now you post you get an error and it won't let you continue to finish the installation?..Is that so?...

what I mean by full installation is to complete the installation, as you described above....

Are you using the wifi?...Try using the ethernet and retry...If your wifi needs a firmware and you do not have it in an external device (usb), you wont get access to the internet....It could be another issue.

I got an error at the configure the package manager usning a mirror when installing the latest Kali Linux on Intel.
Tried both with and without entering proxy details.
I am running on WLAN.

I skipped that part and completed the installation.

What could be the problem and
is it possible to install the packets after the installation is completed?
