What have you tried: so i have installed kali in dual boot system and now bit confused with nvidia -Driver configuration
What is the error: so my system has detected nvidia-gpu and works fine unless i came upon a video on youtube where a guy is able to optimize its D-gpu ideal state power draw from 5w to 2w (p0 to p8 according to nvidia-smi data) by configuring some file and adding some lines into it .
so my concern is that its a 4yrs old video and from since then many updates and development patches have been included both linux kernel and nvidia-gpu drivers so is this still applicable to modern systems (if its practically possible) i bit curious as mine have laptop of (gaming) D-gpu RTX 3050 and in nvidia-smi it shows up this :

seems its not propely configured the guy did resulting unessacry power wastage , has anybody linux geeks have sollution to this problem let me know ,I will add all the neccasy links for better reffernce ,Please feel free to tell im open to any suggestion
