As per your question I think you are asking where to start in Kali Linux. I think you should learn atleast basic commands of Kali Linux then it will be easy for you to operate. You will get various tutorials regarding that in YouTube in various languages. If you want to learn Kali for a specific purpose, let me know that. :smiley:

after learning linux basics you can move on to network basics, some os concepts and began your journey. It is good to learn languages like python,C,javascript if you’re planning for exploit development in the future. Good Luck!

I have started to learn the basics of Linux commands, which I thought I found challenging coming from a Windows background. But now, I am enjoying Linux.

I have some experience with Python, mainly for data analytics reasons, as I have been using Jupyter notebooks a lot. I have recently restarted learning C++.

I find that many people don’t like C++ and that one of the other C languages is preferred?

The best way to start is to start using some Linux distro as your daily driver and learn OS basics.
Forget Windows, forget Kali, once you master how to use Linux you’ll eventually return back to Kali.
