I had it working at one point and my Intel Adapter and Alfa both would show. We removed the loudspeakers and now it won’t work. I’m quite the tech newbie so I’ve just been using AI and copy and pasting. Would love some actual direction. I’ll be good to respond. Thanks in advance.
That chipset should now be supported ‘in kernel’ but the in kernel drivers don’t allow packet injection or monitor mode…

I think I’m shifting gears to a Pineapple Nano and possibly upgrading my antenna. My first hurdle has been getting the IP address to load on Tourr. Will I run into more issues?
Its Linux, unless you use very specific supported hardware, lots of things can, and often do, cause issues.
Your adapter is a case in point, with those Realtek based chipsets the drivers were never in kernel and had to be created as a dkms package (a kernel extension module that would update as newer kernels were installed).
Then, the later kernels started supporting those chipsets ‘in kernel’, but those in kernel drivers don’t support monitor mode, so for Kali users were not very much use. (great if all you needed was a working WiFi adapter, useless for WiFi scanning or cracking)
