What pro? Can you elaborate please. And yes you should learn basics first before jumping into kali.

first start with learning linux basics. Then move on to networking basics and learn some concepts about working of operating systems. After that learn languages like c, python , javascript(for exploit development). To practice do tryhackme/hackthebox rooms. You can also learn stuff from tryhackme and hackthebox as well.
