Hello and sorry for interupting. I have problem with live boot .
Problem is i cant disable security boot and i dont have key for mok manager.(i also dont know where i can get one).Could someone help me ?
Thank you for help.:
If you cannot disable safe boot, and can’t sign kali yourself, then you should use a virtual machine on the computer… or it will not run kali, simple as that
thank you. So i cant get signature online
You can make one but it’s a process.
I don’t have serious knowledge about “secure boot”, but I wonder why it is so hard to make a version of Kali that is compatible with it? In fact, I have a fully working Linux Mint on my computer that is compatible, and as far as I know there are many other Linux distributions that are compatible with secure boot without any problems?
as the post above yours says, you can sign your own bootloader if you need it for a bare metal install with secure boot still enabled.
secureboot is a windows thing, its not needed for any other OS so I guess the Kali devs didn’t see the need, especially as you can instal Kali on Windows in WSL these days.
