I have successfully installed the latest version of Virtual Box(VirtualBox-7.1.6-167084-Win) and then installed Kali Linux (kali-linux-2024.4-installer-amd64. On initial installation everything worked fine but when I shut down the Linux and quit the VB and started it again I am not getting the login GUI instead I am stuck on the BIOS GUI. I have added the image. Kindly assist me … Thanks So far I do not know what to do
Instead of using iso file , download the vm directly from kali website and then in virtual box click on add and select that file ,then go to the setting and adjust the ram,storage and processor according to your system ,remember to give more video memory than default .Click on start and it will bootup directly with no need of installation. Login page will popup ,default username is kali and password is also kali.I had this same issue .
sup? i think you got some experience in kali linux so can you help me ? im gonna shortcut my problem , when i try to install any tool , i receive E: problem for example when i try to use “sudo apt install tilix” i receive this message “unable to locate the package of tilix” or smthing like that i don’t remember, i went to youtube , all the youtubers do , they use "sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list and they add some links , i added them all and it didn’t work , i got 4 hours in YT to try to fix the problem but i still can’t , sorry for english and bothering
