I cannot get autologin to work

What have you tried:

sudo nano /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf

Uncomment # for autologin user with my user name
uncomment # for autologin timeout part to 0

sudo reboot

still have to login

What is the error:
Not auto logging in

What device is this on:

RPi5 Kali ARM Latest.

try this - * LightDM: Edit /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf and uncomment or add the autologin-user and autologin-user-timeout lines, setting the desired username and timeout (usually 0 to disable the timeout).
