What have you tried: I have tried reinstalling kex and kali linux. If I sudo kex I can load it but then I am logged into root which I dont want to do.
What is the error:Opening password file failed when trying to load kex under a normal user.
What device is this on: kali wsl

I got the exact same error message this week; I have been using win-kex many months before without an issue. Any help would also be appreciated from my side!
