What have you tried: Rebooting, changing options in Grub.
What is the error: The screen does not display Kali correctly.

The installation of Kali Linux went smoothly, but booting into the operating system led to this problem.

This is the latest screen malfunction.
Strangely enough, the cursor is still displayed correctly.

boot into a tty and check the logs to see what happened. also did you verified the checksum of the iso that you’ve used to install?

That is quite an old GPU card now, and needs the 470 series Nvidia drivers, the newer drivers included by default can’t be used properly by that system.
