Is it possible to change some settings in live-build-config files and to have different locales as default in the built Live Rolling ISO? Same question about timezone.
Also, would the live-build-script reuse previously downloaded packages if they are still the latest version?
It is possible to change the locale and time zone. The link below is an example of someone doing the same. I don’t have an answer on if it re-uses packages, but setting up Approx should help.
For some more information on live-build there are a few resources that we have on our site which would be worth reading.
Thank you. That’s very helpful. Some of the documentation from kali.org I read already. It seems that it’s even possible to include my own .bashrc or .zshrc and so on. I will try and see how it goes.
