From KeX Manager menu, I can Setup Local Server and then Start Server for USER kali BUT NOT for USER root.
If I select USER root, I get “Server already started!” message when I select “Start Server”.
As a bypass, I tried:
If I select USER kali, then the Server starts correctly and I can connect from a laptop with TigerVNC Viewer BUT if I try “su” from a terminal, it asks for a password that I do not have.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a lot by now.
Have a nice and safe day.

First problem is that when I only use the NetHunter → KeX Manager GUI interface, then it works with USER kali but not USER root (as explained in my first post).
If I then use USER kali, I get kali desktop on my laptop without any problem but then:
Trying to open a “Root Terminal Emulator” from Kali’s GUI does not open any window,
Opening a “Terminal Emulator” from Kali’s GUI and entering sudo gives:
“sudo: effective uid is not 0, is /usr/bin/sudo on a file system with the ‘nosuid’ option set or an NFS file system without root privileges?”
Greetings,
FWIW, I had to reinstall NetHunter and the very first time I launched KeX Manager, I selected root user and it worked so the clue is: use root user first and not kali user
Nice day.
