Using nethunter on termux
-nh
Running kex
-kex
Password prompt: *****
Opening nethunter kex client
Now Running
Problem:
Left the device on idle while on the kex client. The screen turns black after a while because of screensaver settings, and when the mouse pointer is moved, the screen presents kali login prompt(image above uploaded). Entering “kali” as default password but the response is “authentication failed”. No password was changed to begin with.
If you are going to leave a kex session open, and let kali idle you need to make sure your Kali powersave settings are ‘always on’, otherwise it drops the kex connection when the device idles (as you would expect, its no longer ‘active’, when you then try and connect again, it is no longer the same session and so your not authenticated… )
